Fourth of July is all about us celebrating our independence, our freedom. How did we get that independence or freedom? We got that by the soldiers that fought for their lives. I am so thankfully for those soldiers that have done this for us to have freedom. A family friend lost his life fighting for our freedom last year. I am so thankful that he did this, we all miss him dearly and wish that he didn’t have to fight for our freedom but we are so thankful he choose to do that. As I reflect on this day, I think of how much we take for granted not having ever lived without this so called freedom. I think many of us in this world have really seen the really definition of freedom through our relationship with the lord. Even though here on this broken earth we have soldiers that have to fight for our freedom everyday, we don’t have to fight for our freedom we get from the Lord. We get it even when we do things wrong, even when we don’t love those around us, even if we feel like failures we are still free! I’m so thankful for those fighting for my freedom here on this earth, and I’m so thankful no matter what I do I have freedom through Christ everyday!
