So now that summer has officially started, I have been a crazy crafty mood and ready to get some crafts done. So this past week I completed my first summer craft! It was created from an idea I got off of pinterest. It’s a painted rug! You go find a plain colored rug, I bought the cheapest one I could find at Wal-Mart, not knowing how well this was really going to work. You choose a design you want on your rug and tape it out, just like you would tape out a design on a wall. I choose the Chevron print, because it is one of my favorite prints right now! So check out my crafty craziness!
Step 1: Tape off your design!
Step 2: Spray paint the open area’s of your rug, you might have to use something to cover the other areas as your spraying one (only if you are using different colors). I did about 3 coats!
Step 3: Pull off your tape and you have a cute rug!
Just Paint it {PINK},

“OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD” – (that is one of the my favorite sayings that I learned from my mom) the rug is the cutest thing I have ever seen!!! Oh, and by the way – just so you know – the lake will NOT be pink when you get here – sorry – I don’t have enough pink lemonaide to doctor it up!!! Tee Hee
