A verse a day, will keep the devil away!!

July 31, 2012 by lesturman

So here in the last few weeks I have decided I’m going to just focus on one verse everyday. I’m going to spend time reflecting what it means, how it plays in my life, where it stands in my life, how I can fulfill it, how can I change things to be more like this, ect. I have picked a verse everyday and written it down in a little notecard book to look at it multiple times, to go back to it, to really be able to remember where I was in life as I look back through it. So like I said hopefully a verse a day will keep the devil away!! I just wanted to share a few of these verses with you as encouragement.

Do not call anything impure that God has made clean Acts 10:15

I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. he lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. he put a new song in my mouth a hymn of praise to our God. Psalm 40:1-3

May he give you the desires of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Psalm 20:4

You are God my stonghold. Psalm 43:2

Great verses Lindsey – claiming the promises in the scriptures and other meaningful verses on a daily basis is what grounds us in our faith and draws us closer to God – depending on HIM and HIM alone to fullfil our needs. Love you bunches – Grams
